  Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Bake

Ingredients:

  • 2 Chicken breasts (300g)
  • 200g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 100ml Cream
  • 100g Bacon, diced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Bell Pepper, diced
  • 100g Ham, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 Eggs
  • 150g Gouda Cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Stove Top

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  • Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy. Then, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream, mayonnaise, and eggs until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked vegetables and bacon mixture, followed by the chopped ham and chicken breasts on top.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the chicken and top with grated Gouda cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
