Ingredients:

  • 20g dried kombu seaweed
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Whisk

Instructions:

  • Soak the dried kombu in water for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft.
  • Drain the kombu and cut it into thin strips.
  • In a bowl, combine the sliced cucumber, julienned carrot, and kombu strips.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top before serving.
